I hope you are quite smug to have a Dressage star by your side. How does Neville feel about that?

This was a really touching, lovely post, and I echo others' thanks for sharing so openly.critterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10563456192993370308noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5451839911188950941.post-11061005105766752452010-10-12T19:38:28.260-04:002010-10-12T19:38:28.260-04:00Boyd, it has been a long time since I first was ab...Boyd, it has been a long time since I first was able to share a few laughs with you at Southern Pines HTs three and a half years ago. Since then I have learned to cheerish your always friendliness and admire you riding ability and work ethic. I was very happy when I learned that you had finally made in the WEG USET and even happier to watch your superb performance in the WEG that ended up in very well earned 10th place. I could not catch with you over there to give you a big hug; but I will do so whenever we see each other again in the near future.Pedro Gutierrezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03995230327912378221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5451839911188950941.post-2106576678903741392010-10-10T09:03:47.366-04:002010-10-10T09:03:47.366-04:00I don't disagree entirely, and I would like pe...I don't disagree entirely, and I would like people to remember there were several other people who also gave up that income, spent endless amounts of their own money and time to get there and then sat on the sidelines watching without the opportunity to ride and compete. At least for those who got to ride it was worth it all, for those left on the sidelines - I have to wonder. What a shame that the host country didn't even have the maximum number of riders representing us and getting the opportunity to realize their dream.pollykinznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5451839911188950941.post-19830140768901889732010-10-08T11:01:20.905-04:002010-10-08T11:01:20.905-04:00Dear Boyd, We are so proud of you and your accompl...Dear Boyd, We are so proud of you and your accomplishments. And if trolls come out from under the bridge because you actually have a voice, I have a shovel and a graveyard at my house that you can borrow.
Anyway, about the horses. There are horses out there. BUT the folks that have them can't afford to send them to a pro to compete. They are regular people who maybe breed a foal a year and have a potential **** horse. They want to keep the horse and not syndicate them. They don't want to lose control on a horse they bred. And yet, the horse is sitting there because they can't afford to compete them.
Maybe it's food for thought about some kind of plan for a professional to take on these horses and it be budget friendly for the owner.
I have heard on more than one occasion this dilemma.LisaBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08421641024910450055noreply@blogger.com
