Silva is on a winning streak and continued her success when she took four horses to Dressage at Fair Hill this weekend:
I took Sea Lord,Rosa Cha W,Fair Fiona W and Comet V to Dressage at Fair Hill this weekend. I am so pleased with all my horses at the moment; I am very lucky that I have such good horses to ride. That's when our job is fun!
Sea Lord was fantastic this weekend. He feels stronger and stronger every time I take him out. He won the Prix St George with 70.6% on Saturday and backed it up with winning the Intermediaire 1 on Sunday with 74%! He really is a great horse and loves to show off. This weekend Sea Lord was FEI champion! I am thinking about doing his first CDI at Saugerties, NY.
Of course Rosa Cha W was amazing again. She did not just win, she won with an awesome score of 79%! She is a fantastic horse and soooooo brave for such a baby. She does not spook at anything at all. I LOVE RIDING HER!
Fair Fiona W seems to like to stay with the same good score for the last 3 shows; she won both her second level classes with 71%. She is a little like Rosa in the way that she is so easy at the shows. Nothing bothers her, ever! She got a 10 in one of her medium trots and was second level champion and high score!
Comet was also a good boy this weekend and seems to get more and more confident in the fourth level. He finished 3rd.
My student Claudia Schulz and her horse Eise looked much much better this weekend. We are slowly getting the puzzle together.
On Saturday night I took Jeff the Chef W to do a demonstration ride at the Dressage at Devon preview party. We did a Grand Prix freestyle to music from Cirque du Soleil.
It was 90 degrees on Saturday and Jeff was very hot and tired, but when the audience turned up and the music began to play, he woke up and tried very hard for me. I am proud of him and so excited to see how good we can get!
