Devon, Kymmy and Silva had a successful weekend at Dressage at Fair Hill:
Kymmy and Markie moved up to do their first PSG and they did well. On Saturday they finished third and on Sunday fourth. It was very good for the first time at this level - they have come such a long way!
Devon had Ballatale in Third level tests 2 and 3. She had good tests with a few little mistakes, scoring 63% in both classes and finsihing third in both.
I was riding Sea Lord, owned by Charish Campbell, and Duvent, owned by Melinda Walton and Larry Smith. Sea Lord moved up to Intermediaire II and I was very pleased with him both days. We still have a lot of work to do, but he did so well for his first time at this level. We won on both days with 65% - not too bad for the "old race horse"! We will be doing our first Grand Prix soon.
Duvent moved up to Prix St. George: he has also come such a long way since I have been riding him. He got a little excited about the new test on Saturday and we finished fourth with 61%. On Sunday he was much much better and we finished second on 65%.
I would like to say again that I am just blown away by the generosity of all the people around us. Dressage at Fair Hill and Bit of Britain were selling raffle tickets to raise money for the fire relief fund. I cannot thank everybody enough for what they are doing to help us get through this tough time! THANK YOU!!!!!
Silva
