Rosa Cha W was accepted to the jog today at Dressage at Devon and will compete in the PSG tomorrow at 10:16am. Jerusha jogged her for me and they both looked amazing! It's a huge class that runs from 8am to 5pm and should be very competitive.
Yesterday Boyd rode Rosa's daughter Hannah Lu W to the reserve championship in the Materiale Class for Four & Five Year Old Mares. He did a really good job with her and it's exciting to see Rosa's baby do so well. Rosa and I have a special relationship and Hannah is a very special horse. She adores Boyd and tries very hard for him, and he has a nice nonchalant way of riding her and letting her be herself. I'm lucky that he can ride her for me until I can see properly again!
Today Benefactor RRS was the last entry in the Six-Year-Old class and he was awesome! The test has four flying changes and half-pass, so it's difficult for these young horses but Benny handled it very well. Other than getting a little confused on the first flying change he felt very steady and he finished fourth overall, in a big class under the lights at night, which is also a lot for him to handle.
