Neville Swimming
The final lead-up event for Rolex Kentucky is this weekend at The Fork Horse Trials in Norwood, NC. I've got a great group of geldings competing at The Fork, including Neville Bardos in the advanced and Ying Yang Yo, Otis Barbotiere, and Remington XXV in the CIC3*. I've decided to put Cold Harbor back to intermediate for a start after our spill at Southern Pines.
Remi Swimming
It's been great being back in PA for the past two weeks. The Unionville area is an awesome place to get a horse fit: I've been galloping the Jersey and Rolex horses up the mountains of the Cheshire Hunt country. I've also utilized the swimming pool at Maui Meadows training facility, making sure all the horses are in top condition.-Boyd
What is happening is the photos? Why are the horses swimming?
ReplyDeleteThey are swimming for exercise - it's a great workout that gives their legs a break from pounding on the ground, the same as for humans.
