A special shout out must go to 'Plantation Field Pioneer' Denis Glaccum,
who is slowly making his comeback from heart surgery.
Denis Glaccum Showing Off His Battle Scars |
One of the driving forces behind one of America's best events, the Plantation Field International CIC3*, Denis has managed to overcome one of the biggest
challenges of his career with the heart specialists replacing a number of tubes attached to his ticker.
The entire eventing community wishes this Eventing Hall of Famer all the best in his recovery, and look forward to see the orange hat driving around the cross-country fields of Plantation come September. I also would like to personally congratulate the nurses that had to deal with Denis for his two-week stay at the University of Pennsylvania.

Thank you Boyd.
ReplyDeleteThere is no doubt in my mind. West Chester at large is the most comforting area for any horse lover to endure a major problem. It is a "one for all and all for one" place. Long life to all its inhabitants! Those of us on the outside are better people knowing of your existence.
