Boyd is Back in the Saddle at Sporting Days in Aiken

About a week and a half ago Boyd had a fall schooling at home and sustained a mild concussion. To be on the safe side, he was checked out at the hospital and utilized the new USEF impact test (which is still in a testing phase) - he took a test previously to establish a baseline for memory, reflexes, and so on, and then took the same test after the fall to see if he was ready to return to the field of play. He took a few days' rest, and Phillip Dutton piloted Trading Aces around the OI at Pine Top the last weekend in February (see video below). A big thanks to Phillip for keeping this fantastic horse on track.

This past weekend Boyd was back in business, riding nine horses at Sporting Days in Aiken. Caitlin also rode a few horses at Sporting Days and at Pine Top. Results from Sporting Days are as follows:

  1. It is great to see that you are up and about! Phillip and you are so lucky to have developed such an extraordinary bonding. Then, overcoming extremely dire events together has probably tighten it.
I remember you charmingly joking about being different from Phillip because "he[Phillip]is old and wrinkled." I truly hope that you find someone who would say the same thing about you.
