A New Career for Trading Aces

Oscar at the 2013 Rolex Kentucky three-day event

After winning the $50,000 Wellington Eventing Showcase, Trading Aces stayed on in Florida with Marcia Kulak, who put him in training and transformed the world-class eventer into an equitation horse. While Oscar has always shown a lot of talent, he simply lacks the endurance to be successful in upper-level eventing. We hope that he will have a happy and successful future with his new rider, Alexandra Pielet, in the junior ranks.

Thanks to The Chronicle of the Horse and EventingNation.com for blogging about Oscar's sale today:

  1. I'm going to miss seeing Oscar in eventing, but I'm happy Boyd made the decision to sell him because he couldn't make it in eventing.
